Nutshell at Dodge Street

Well, we arrived too late to see American Idiots, the Green Day cover band. However, when we got in there around 11, there was a large crowd in the back room and dwindled throughout the rest of the night. Maybe it was because they weren't fans of Alice and Chains or maybe it was because they were there to see American Idiots, who knows?
Nutshell did turn out to be a pretty good cover band. The lead singer likes to do a lot of interacting with the audience, including singing while walking around the crowd (stolen from Chris Harvey of Cocaine Tongue). I would have picked up a Nutshell T-shirt, but was unable to find the merch table. The cover band scene is alive and well at Dodge Street!
